When you apply for an Amazon.co.uk MasterCard Halifax plc assess your income and outstanding borrowing commitments and set a credit limit that suits your circumstances. Halifax plc can reassess your credit limit when you've had the card for six months.Back to top Where can I use my card?
There's five ways to use your card:
Purchases: use your card anywhere you see the MasterCard sign.
Cash machines: withdraw cash using your card and PIN number. Halifax plc charge a cash advance fee each time you withdraw money. Please refer to the Conditions for all fees and interest rates.
Online shopping: safe and secure and protected by the Amazon.co.uk MasterCard online fraud guarantee.
Abroad: use your card wherever you see the MasterCard sign, or at cash machines. Halifax plc charge a foreign-currency transaction fee. Please refer to the Conditions for all fees and interest rates.
Credit card cheques: you may be sent credit card cheques which you can use in the same way as you'd use a normal cheque. They are paid from your Amazon.co.uk MasterCard. Please note that you can't use credit card cheques to make payments against your Amazon.co.uk MasterCard account or any other card issued by Halifax plc or Bank of Scotland and your credit card is not a cheque guarantee card.
